We are pleased to announce to hold the 2nd Korea-China Solar Physics Workshop from 2007 October 25 to 27 in Jeju, Korea.
This workshop is a succession of the first China-Korea Solar Physics Workshop that was successfully held at Huairou Solar Observing Station,
National Astronomical Observatories of China (2005 July 9~11).
This series of workshop has been aimed to promote collaborations between Korea and China
as well as to bring up young people in two countries by providing more chance
to learn advanced knowledge and to present recent results of their own research.
Participants
The participants will be mostly from China and Korea, but some may come from
USA, Japan, and other countries.
Registration fee and
financial support
Every participant is to pay the registration fee of 500,000 won at the
registration desk either in cash or with a credit card, which will cover
lodging, meals and other expenses. Separately financial support covering
the registration fee will be supplied to participants
from outside Korea. Domestic participants who need financial support
are asked to contact the LOC (Dr. Yeon-Han Kim).
Proceedings and Manuscript Submission
We have plan to prepare a kind of proceeding which include abstracts and presentation files.
The presentation files (*.ppt or *.pdf) and abstracts (*.doc) should be sent to

or Prof. Jongchul Chae (chae@astro.snu.ac.kr) by October 15, 2007.

Transportation
The meeting place, Haevichi resort, is located in the opposite side of Jeju International Airport.
The shuttle buses will bring participants from the airport to the resort.
It takes about an hour. In the airport, LOC organizer will help you to take the bus.

* The bus will go to the resort via golf course.
Thus it takes about one and half hours from airport to the resort.
For the convenience of the scheduling of your arrival and departure,
we would like to let you the plan that the dinner of October 24 and
the lunch of the last day (October 27) will be served at the Haevichi resort by local organizers.
In addition, there will be the welcoming reception at 20:00~21:00 in the evening of October 24.

In October, the weather condition of Jeju island is usually warm and cool.
